Mao Xie (毛蟹) - “Hairy Crab” is an Oolong from Anxi county in Southern Fujian, one of the four famous Southern Fujian Oolongs along with Tie Guan Yin, Huang Jin Gui and Ben Shan. It is considered by some that the tea got its name because of its rolled shape which looks similar to crab claws.
The aroma includes herbal and honey notes. The taste is floral, fruity and buttery. A summer kind of tea perfect for long, leisurely tea sessions.
