Master Zhang truly loves his tea craft and that is one of the reasons why he prefers to prepare his Oolongs using the old traditional method of heating the tea on coal. This method helps to secure the flavour at a certain point. This particular Da Hong Pao has been heated 5 times which has resulted in a fine flavour combination. It has volume, aroma and balance with a a long-lasting aftertaste. The taste includes baked cinnamon with spice and the aroma is rich and full-bodied.
A tea of this kind is perfect for both daytime and evening sessions. Like many good Rock Oolongs it gets the good vibes going.
