This Dan Cong is collected from wild bushes which grow near Wudong mountain. It is astringent and fiery like a Dan Cong should be, but at the same time there is something Rock Oolong about it. Somewhat simple in a pleasant way.
The dry leaf aroma includes notes of dried berries, slightly salty with a baked cherry aftertaste. The aroma at the bottom of the cup includes notes of sour cherry and vanilla.
