A tea with a history that goes back 2 thousand years, the name Lui Bao can be translated as “Six Castles” which may be due to the fortes which were once situated in these regions. Liu Bao Hei Cha is made in Guangxi province, Liu Bao village.
The heated leaf aroma includes earthy and woody notes. After the first steep chocolaty notes make their way into the aroma. The liquor is a beautiful dark brown colour with a burgundy tint. The taste is gentle, voluminous and vibrant. The flavour profile includes notes of sweet coco beans, nutmeg, almonds and freshly baked bread. Cha Qi is gradual and smooth. Hei Cha Liu Bao helps to reboot and boost energy levels. It’s like a good friend that takes you to a safe place.
