It’s aroma is chocolaty, slightly sweet, with a pleasant touch of tartness and astringency. Give it a couple of steeps to really open up, something delightfully confectionary and cognacy will appear in the brew along with a strong mouthfeel in the aftertaste. The flavour profile has deep chocolaty, cognac, truffle notes.
