A competition-grade Dong Ding that received a 3 plum rating at the 2019 Taiwanese Tea Roasting Competition. It underwent an additional roasting stage on fruit tree coal, which has had a very nice effect on the overall flavour profile. The aroma includes cream with sugar, lilies, and fresh bread and milk. The taste is gentle and milky with a touch of tartness; sweetness has a dominant position in the overall composition. A great tea to try with a tea pair. Best brewed in a larger porcelain Gaiwan to provide enough space for the tea to open up, recommended water temperature: 85-90°C.
An unusual tea that has a lot to offer in terms of flavour richness, can handle a lot of steeps. Soothes and helps to relax.
