An Oolong from the famous Wu Dong peak, it is considered that the “truest” Dan Cong is made here. Bai Tian Xiang Wu Dong can be translated as “the aroma of the clean sky in Wu Dong”.
The dry leaf aroma is amazing with it’s intensive cookie-and-floral aroma topped off with honey notes. Intensive, stunning aromas are characteristic of Dan Congs from the Wu Dong peak.
The taste is intensive and comes off astringent and spicy. The floral astringency lingers in the aftertaste for a long time. The second and third steeps are more gentle and contain a honey-and -cookie taste which lasts all the way to the aftertaste.
The Cha Qi is the main attraction of a Dan Cong, and it is especially true in this case. It helps to concentrate; it’s meditative and energizing.
A great option when you want to impress your fellow tea heads, this Dan Cong can win over even very experienced taste buds. Not an everyday tea, it’s just too good.
