This tea was awarded the title of best tea in a contest held in Wuyishan in 2019.
The dry leaf aroma says “intense heating”: seeds, flowers, dried plums. Once heated the aroma gets more intense. The first sip has an astringency to it, it quickly melts into a milky sweetness which stays for a long time and somehow constantly changes. It’s one of those teas where the aftertaste does it’s own thing. It has been heated perfectly, there is no sourness and the aftertaste hints at the mineral cliffs as it changes from salty to sweet.
Each sip offers something new. Each sip is unlike the previous, the only part that remains unchanging is the astringency in the beginning, but it always makes way for a new taste that follows.
We highly recommend trying this tea. It will definitely make a strong impression.
