Bo He Tang, 2019, is a high-quality summer Sheng that has quite a lot to offer to the tea drinker despite its young age.
The aroma is woody, floral with notes of dry leaves and a hint of smokiness. The flavour is velvety with a hint of sweetness and tartness. The aftertaste is long-lasting and voluminous.
Bo He Tang carries somewhat of a dichotomy: it is as though it makes a claim to bring forward a deep, almost heavy tea state, but ends up being quite non-intrusive with a gentle and subtle progression.
