A Sheng made from raw material collected in wild-growing gardens near mountain He Kai. The raw material for this Sheng was collected from different trees in the wild gardens. Most trees are from 400 to 600 years old, but there are trees that are only 100 years old and there are trees that are almost 1000 years old. The Sheng contains roughly several percent of raw material collected from 1000 year old trees.
It has an apple and berry aroma, the taste is well-balanced and rich, no astringency. The aftertaste is pleasantly sweet. Honey, apricots, jasmine and vanilla come together in this Sheng’s flavour profile. Goes down easy, each sip offers an impressing flavour composition.
Definitely an extraordinary Sheng, we give it a 10/10. A great tea for a long attentive tea session.
