Sheng Puerh “from old trees” from Xigui village, Lincang province.
It has a floral and berry flavour with a tinge of tartness and a viscous aftertaste. It evokes a strong tea state. Perfect for boiling outdoors.
Sheng Puerh Xigua Tuo Cha can be brewed in clay or thick ceramic teaware. Water is best heated to a temperature of 90-95 °С (194-203°F). Suggested brewing methods are Pin Cha or boiling. It can be steeped up to 9 times. Tea-to-water ratio is 6 g. (0.21 oz) per 100 ml. (3.5 oz) of water.
A strong, simple Sheng Puerh perfect for special occasions. An excellent choice for an afternoon tea session. Invigorates and helps to concentrate.
