A good batch of an aged Shu Puerh made by Mister Feng from Xishuangbanna, Menghai. The raw material is small in size with ginger coloured buds. The taste is thick, gentle, but at the same time full-bodied. The taste includes chocolate, baked milk, wood with no astringency and a touch of coolness in the aftertaste. One of our favourite Shu Puerhs from the TJ collection.
Shu Puerhs are best brewed on mineralized water at a temperature of 95℃. If prepared on soft (or demineralized) water there is a higher chance of the Shu not brewing properly.
