A smooth and velvety Shu Puerh, invigorating and energizing. A good choice for a morning or afternoon tea session. If you plan to drink it in the evening, make sure that you finish several hours before going to bed as it is very energy-boosting.
Recommended brewing temperature is 90-100°С (194-212°F). Lao Shu Chen Xiang is best prepared in porcelain, clay or ceramic teaware. Tea-to-water ratio is 6 g. (0.21 oz) per 100 ml. (3.5 oz) of water. It can handle up to 8 steeps. This Shu Puerh is best brewed in the morning or afternoon.
