A famous Taiwanese tea, it was named after the Ali Shan mountain nature reserve where it is cultivated. Its tea flesh consists of three leaves, a bud and a stem.
This tea has a rich buttery taste of ripe cherries with pastry undertones and a long-lasting floral aftertaste.
Ali Shan is a wonderful tea for the everyday and will make for a pleasant tea session in the morning, afternoon or evening. Strengthens the spirit and sets a good mood.
Ali Shan Oolong can be brewed in porcelain, clay or ceramic teaware. Recommended brewing temperature is 85-90 °С (185-194°F). It can be steeped in a thermos or prepared using the Pin Cha method; may be steeped up to 8 times. Tea-to-water ratio is 5 g. (0.18 oz) per 100 ml (3.5 oz) of water.
