Shou Mei (or Old man's brows) is a white tea from the Fujiian and Guangxi provinces. An ancient Chinese tea. It is collected throughout the entire spring season: that is why it has large, dark-coloured leaves. The tea has a light, floral taste with a hint of sweet berries. Soothing and refreshing.

Shou Mei can be prepared using different water temperatures: it can be heated to only 80°С (176F) or up to 95°С (203F), in any case you will not be disappointed. We recommend using porcelain, ceramic or glass teaware; preparing it in a thermos is also a good option . Recommended brewing options are Pin cha or steeping. Tea-to-water ratio is 5 g. (0.18 oz) per 100 ml. (3.5 oz) of water. A great choice for a morning or evening tea session.
