A tightly pressed Da Hong Pao bar with a strong, rich taste. The flavour profile is sweet with a classic Da Hong Pao taste, if intensely brewed a sort of creamy top note appears. Nothing frilly, can easily handle intense brewing. A straightforward, to-the-point DHP. Does not have any sourness, the texture is oily and viscous.
The bar is tightly pressed, it's not very difficult to break the bar in the straight lines that are thinner but if you want to break in half one of the "cells" it will require a good amount of elbow grease to do so. It also takes a number of steeps before the tea will actually begin to open up.
