This Sheng Puerh is made out of raw material collected from old wild bushes (Lao Cong) that are approximately a hundred years old, the tea is fully hand-crafted. The heated leaf has fresh blackberry notes with a touch of tobacco and leather. The taste is unusual, it balances between fruitiness and astringency. This is oftentimes typical of wild raw material. The aftertaste is minty with a hint of sweetness.
The brewing process requires extra attention - it’s best to keep the steeping time a bit shorter than usual for a Sheng Puerh.
An interesting and unusual tea from the farmer brand Pin Wu Cha. A great Sheng for special occasions when you are in the mood for something extra delightful.
