A famous tea from Fujian with a rich fruit aroma which is a result of a longer heating process.
Its bouquet is comprised of fruit, grass and lilac. It has a honey and caramel flavour with herbaceous undertones. Satisfies and quenches thirst. Light and unpretentious.
Tie Guan Yin is ideal for afternoon and evening tea sessions. It quenches thirst, relaxes and brings a sense of ease to the body and mind.
This tea can be prepared in any type of teaware: glass, porcelain, clay. Recommended brewing temperature is 80-95 °С (176-203°F). Tea-to-water ratio is 5 g. (0.18 oz) per 100 ml. (3.5 oz) of water. The tea can be steeped in a glass or prepared using the Pin cha method; may be steeped up to 8 times.
