A juicy Gong Fu Hong from Yunnan. The dry leaf aroma includes dark chocolate with dried cherries. The heated leaf is complimented by a touch of citrus. The first steep includes herbs and Eastern spices. The second steep is not so much about the spices, notes of plum make their way into the composition. Several steeps into the tea session and the flavour acquires sweetness and dark bread crust notes.

Like many Gong Fu Hongs Niu Er is a demanding tea. The best way to brew it is in a Gaiwan with water that hasn’t reached boiling temperature, the steeps should be short.
