Sheng Puerh from Pa Sha Shan harvested in 2019.
The dry leaf has woody, musky, leathery notes. Once the leaf is heated light floral and fruity notes make their way, including peaches and baked apples. Th floral aroma becomes more profound once the leaf is steeped, with something similar to lilac or magnolia making their way into the composition.
The flavour is rather light but voluminous with floral and earthy notes and a long-lasting velvety aftertaste. A more delicate, smoother Sheng. Helps to slow down and find balance.
